M.Sc in Environmental Sciences, Minimum 5 years’ experience in state, central or ULB level or Urban Poverty Alleviation, Knowledge of Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Management Plan, Forest Clearances, Environmental Monitoring, Environmental & Social Audit.

Responsibilities :

- Implementing and supervising Environmental safeguards as per Bank procedures.

- The work mainly includes review of various documents prepared for safeguards and getting the documents updated based on implementation needs and guiding safeguards staff of the contractor

Duty Station :

The duty station of the expert will be at Amritsar.

Remuneration :

The remuneration shall be based on qualifications and experience on past performance of the candidate against the requirement. Tentative Pay range INR 1,00,000-1,10,000 per month.

Duration :

The appointment to the post will be on contract basis initially for a period of one year and likely to be extended based on the performance for subsequent year thereon. The engagement of candidate will be on full time basis.

Reporting Arrangements :

The Expert will report to the Project Manager and Superintending Engineer (Projects), Amritsar Municipal Corporation.
